A conversation with AI Artist L4STD4ZE, aka @L4STD4ZE on X
INTERVIEW CONDUCTED ON DECEMBER 7, 2024
ALL IMAGES BY L4STD4ZE ARE GENERATED USING STARRYAI AND GROK UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE
Meet L4STD4ZE, a digital artist who seamlessly blends creativity with technology to bring her vibrant imagination to life. Specializing in fashion, portraits, and sci-fi, she crafts stunning, highly detailed artworks that radiate elegance, emotion, and otherworldly charm. Whether capturing the ethereal glow of a mystical figure or the bold allure of a futuristic fashion icon, her pieces are a masterclass in color, light, and intricate design.
Her work is drenched in color—rich, dynamic, and expressive—drawing the eye with bold contrasts and dramatic lighting that heightens the mood of each scene. Whether illuminating a serene expression or igniting a sense of mystery, her use of light and shadow creates an immersive, almost cinematic effect. She gravitates toward close-up portraits, capturing the finest details in faces, fabrics, and jewelry, each piece exuding grace, power, or playful mischief.
L4STD4ZE is also an experimentalist, constantly pushing creative boundaries. Engaged and ever-present in the AI art community on X, she thrives on challenges, QTs, and prompt explorations, making her work a kaleidoscope of styles and influences. From ethereal mysticism to cyberpunk chic, her art is both diverse and unmistakably refined, always returning to its central themes of beauty, elegance, and emotion.
Her creations often feel like modern myths, with regal, goddess-like figures, luminous fantasy landscapes, and intricate, ornate costumes that blur the line between haute couture and celestial magic. Some pieces evoke tranquility and connection with nature, while others radiate strength, allure, and mystery. The result is a portfolio that doesn’t just showcase beauty—it tells a story, inviting the viewer into realms both futuristic and fantastical.
Every portrait, every shimmering detail, every play of light in L4STD4ZE’s art is a testament to her ability to merge technical precision with imagination. A world where human beauty meets the surreal, and where each image is a window into something powerful, poetic, and undeniably mesmerizing. It’s an honor to feature her in this interview.

Without getting too personal, can you tell us a bit about yourself?:
I started my online presence as a content creator for gaming and fell in love with AI art, and the rest is history, so to speak.
Could you please tell us which country you live in?:
I live in the United States.
What led you to begin working with AI imagery?:
I always used to sketch and draw as an outlet, but after I had a stroke, I could no longer draw. AI allowed me to continue my creative passion.
What AI tools do you use?:
I started out using Starryai, got into Bing, and loved how it allowed me to get basically any look I wanted for my image. I use Grok and Bing mainly now, depending on what I'm creating.
What inspires you?:
I'd like to say it's one thing in particular, but I love creating everything and anything. I think that comes from how I sketched. I like fashion mixed with fantasy if I had to choose.

In which other medium, if any, do you practice art?:
I'm trying to get back to sketching, but it's a very slow process. Though I have full function in my hand back, the fine details are still not there.
Would you consider AI-generated art true art?:
Yes, art is inspired by the artist. If I use a pencil and paper or write out what I want to see, it is still me using my imagination and artistic talent.
Please share one or a few of your favorite images with us.:
Here is one I really like:
Fashion Fantasy Sketch
Do you title your AI-generated art? If you do, what inspires you to come up with these titles?:
Sometimes, I feel the inspiration to title them. It depends on how connected I am to them.
When do you tend to be the most productive, and do you work in long sessions or short bursts?:
I would say afternoon and night. I would like to do more, but social media currently discourages too much posting.
String theory formula
What type of prompts do you prefer: text or AI-generated descriptions through fed images?:
Text prompts. I don't use fed images.
When prompting with text, do you write simple text-based prompts or complex ones?:
Honestly, for the most part, I keep the same base prompt and combine it with new prompts or ideas.
Do you think text-based prompts should be shared within the AI art community?:
I feel that as long as they are not copied word for word, there's no harm in sharing. I would share with anyone that asked. I started putting prompts in ALT but didn't notice a huge difference in response.
What is the most unconventional method you have used to create an image?:
Taking obscured words and throwing them into a prompt to see what happens.
How many images you have generated using AI technology?:
I couldn't even count. Currently saved on my phone is over 10,000, not counting the ones I discard daily.
Please share your X (Twitter) handle with us.:
Tell us a bit about your X handle and X username.:
It was my gamer tag, and since I started doing gaming content, I just stayed with the name.
How many X followers do you currently have?:
Over 4,100.
How many X accounts do you currently follow?:
3,100
How long have you been on X (Twitter)?:
I think in March, it will be close to 2 years.

QT something Silver
Is there any other online platform where we can view all of your previous work apart from X?:
You can find me on Instagram: @l4std4ze.ai_art
In this world of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), are you currently selling your digital art on any platform? If so, which platform are you using?:
I use UNCUT. That's all I use right now.
Are you selling tangible AI-generated artwork, such as high-quality prints like Giclée prints?:
I do sell canvas prints locally at art shows.
Could you suggest some AI artists you like that we could follow?:
These artists supported me early in my AI art and continually inspire me:
There are so many more. I feel bad for only mentioning a few, but the list is numerous. This community is a family, and I try to support everyone as much as I can.
Is there anything else you would like to add or share with the AI community?:
This community is incredible and so supportive. They are a family, and I love that!
