Using various AI tools, she is the Queen of QT’s (Quote Tweet) and offers us a fantastic variety of art that captivates and inspires.
Pamela's positive attitude and helpful nature make her a beloved figure in the AI Art Community on X. Without getting too personal, can you tell us a bit about yourself?:
I've gone through many lifetimes in this one. So in order to really reveal much about myself, I would need to write a book. It's been, and still is, a fantastic journey, to say the least. I've gone through many ''Dark Nights of the Soul'' to settle into the retired life I am in now.
Could you please tell us which country you live in?:
I live on the East Coast Area of New Jersey, U.S.A: the ''Joisey Shaw'' (Jersey Shore).
What led you to begin working with AI imagery?:
I am amazed at the beauty of Skipper VanderWall's (@RobotCleopatra) work, his inspiration, and his kind support. I have always loved Glitter and Glamour, having been in modeling as a teen. I was amazed at what he was able to create, and I still am!
What AI tools do you use?:
I use many. I always preferred Copilot and DALL-E, but now with the censorship, I get frustrated with trying to get around the words or even know what words are causing the blocks. I've branched out to other sites like Mirrorize.ai. I've used Adobe Firefly in the past but have yet to venture into Midjourney, which seems to be the favorite of the AI artists. Pika is a favorite of mine for my little Flower Goblins that I Love. I've tried many other free video systems, with Hedra being the latest! I wish they all had the ability for voice and or music! I think there are sites that can amalgamize them all, but I have not gotten that far yet.
What inspires you?:
I really enjoy the prompts that are offered. I like to alter them in some way to make the results my own. I do not like cookie-cutter anything!

In which other medium, if any, do you practice art?:
In my young days I was very into drawing with pencil and then ink and finally got into pastels. I loved portrait work. I only began getting into acrylics when a life change took me away from art altogether! Many of my creations ended up looking a bit like me. I then was heavily into photography and took some courses, though I did not like the darkroom work. I have boxes and boxes of photos from Europe...Churches, Cathedrals, Gothic architecture, Ruins, and, of course, Cemeteries! I participated in Art Fairs with my framed photos. I really loved it. I am also a poet, though I do not do it as a practice like I used to. Poems would come to me at 3 am...like gifts from alternate lives. I would be woken up from deep sleep, I kept paper and pencil handy, then was amazed at what I had written the next morning. I was published in a couple of books, though I did not write an entire book myself. It was a magical time in my life.
Would you consider AI-generated art true art?:
Any art is true art, in my humble opinion. Art is within the power of perception of the perceiver. Art contains the energy of the creator. Like music, the energy is transferred via the image rather than sound. When a painter throws paint Willy-nilly onto a canvas and sells it for thousands...is that art? It does have the artist's energy signature within the final result, though I feel the Great Masters put more of their emotional energy and effort into their Masterpieces. I feel the same about AI art. Thought is an energetic power to create an entity. Entities can never die and exist in the ethers. They are transferred to an image through the medium of AI, which interprets the thought through a prompt. Much like mediums can pick up messages from alternate realities and then relate them back in language, AI picks up the thought through a prompt and relates it back in images.

Do you title your AI-generated art? If you do, what inspires you to come up with these titles?:
I've recently started to name a few, especially when I post for possible displays. I've found that giving the piece a name gives it more power somehow. I think others pay more attention to it when you take the time to name it. I have no special inspiration for names. The piece speaks to me, and I just write what I feel or I immediately know. Sometimes I have to sit and look at it and just think to see what comes up. It is not a necessity for me to have a title.
When do you tend to be the most productive, and do you work in long sessions or short bursts?:
I am most productive when I am on an energetic roll. It does not matter if the session is long or short; I must have creative energy flowing. When I get an idea...I must do it immediately. If I wait, I lose it.

What type of prompts do you prefer: text or AI-generated descriptions through fed images?:
Text definitely. I think the more the artist is personally involved with the creation, the better!
When prompting with text, do you write simple text-based prompts or complex ones?:
I tell you the truth, depending on the AI, simple prompts can get great results. I've even tried my birthday and other numbers...the results are amazing! There are times when really long prompts create the cookie-cutter effects I was speaking of earlier. Where the prompt is so efficient, the results leave little room for alteration. I do like to have a bit of surprise in the results.
Do you think text-based prompts should be shared within the AI art community?:
Only if the artist wants to. I feel that if everyone is going about using the same AI apps and the same prompts, it would get boring! Yet, I will also admit that when an artist shares a new video app, for example, or a new AI free-to-try site, I am grateful to check and see if it's for me. As I've said before, I do enjoy the prompts shared by so many of the long-time AI artists on X, but I tweak them to create something I feel is my creation.
What is the most unconventional method you have used to create an image?:
The most unconventional thing for me was using numbers for my prompt, like my birthdate.
How many images you have generated using AI technology?:
I am not involved with creating AI art very long and I can easily say perhaps 7,000 images, if not more.

Is there any other online platform where we can view all of your previous work apart from X?:
Unfortunately, LinkedIn gave me the boot a few years ago. I had over 2,600 published articles and poetry that were lost forever!
In this world of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), are you currently selling your digital art on any platform? If so, which platform are you using?:
No, I am not selling my art right now. It is a new world for me and I have not minted my work yet.
Are you selling tangible AI-generated artwork, such as high-quality prints like Giclée prints?:
No...I do think it's a great idea! I do like tangible goods that you can hang on a wall and enjoy!
Could you suggest some AI artists you like that we could follow?:
The list would be much too long for this space. Plus, I would hate to forget anyone. I admire everyone that comes to my door. We are all on this AI journey together!
Is there anything else you would like to add or share with the AI community?:
Just that I appreciate your perseverance, Revel in AI, in getting me to share in an interview, I never thought of myself as interesting enough to do such a thing. I appreciate your work as well!
Thank you, and thank you also to everyone who reads this interview or looks at my work.
